Abstract: The article focuses on the premiere of Season 5 of the television program "Reno 911!" in the U.S. on January 16, 2008. In last season's cliffhanger, another attempt by Lieutenant Dangle to marry Leslie at the hospital room of Deputy Wiegel, who gave birth at his commitment ceremony, was interrupted by Garcia, who ran off with Dangle's would-be partner.
