Abstract
- The article focuses on Margie Hendrickson's classic East Coast-style saltbox house built in Washington State. In the living room, Hendrickson created a vignette of the nineteenth century, which includes a circa 1840s desk, anonymous period portraits and papers dated 1815. According to Hendrickson, she and her husband, Jerry, have lived in different period-homes, including a log house and even an early-1900s farmhouse. Illustrations of some furnishings inside the house are also provided.
