Abstract
- Chapter 7 of the book "The Politics of Military Base Closings" is presented. This chapter takes up the questions of how the closing decisions of 534 U.S. military bases were made. It also explores the subsequent implementation and establishment of the Base Realignment and Closing Commission (BRAC) in January 1989.
