Abstract
- The article explores how changes in curriculum offer valuable opportunities to strengthen teachers through better support programs and more opportunities for reflection and leadership. It presents various difficulties in proposing curriculum-change and the benefits that could be gained through the transformations. It particularly determines the limitations on the programs propose including the focusing on writing programs that are providing less competent writing instruction, the consideration for its implications to students and teachers as well as the need for reflection and assessment.
