Abstract

Chapter 5 of the book "Eliminating Human Poverty: Macroeconomic & Social Policies for Equitable Growth" is presented. It examines the research on the incidence of health and education spending by income groups. It also looks into the disparities that exist in health and education outcomes in developing countries. The research indicates that the distribution of the resources is biased in favour of the richer groups.
