- Information about psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud is presented. Freud is the founder of psychoanalysis and the discoverer of the unconscious. Information about his social background, educational qualifications, and his literary career is presented. During his lifetime he wrote 24 books and 123 articles containing some 90 specifically Freudian concepts.
