Abstract

The article describes a case of serous retinal detachment (SRD) associated with choroidal osteoma successfully treated with transpupillary thermotherapy (TTT) in 21-year-old female patient. The patient's visual acuity was 20/50 in the right eye and 20/20 in the left eye. Fluorescein angiography showed diffuse mottled hyperfluorescence of the tumor associated with leaking area within the area of SRD. TTT resulted in resolution of subretinal fluid and subsequent improvement in visual acuity.
