- The article discusses shoe designers Warren Edwards and his partner Susan Bennis. In New York City, Edwards and Bennis released their first shoe collection 18 years ago with design methods reflecting the exactness of Italian engineering. Each shoe requires special handling and attention to materials including the use of glues, plastics, threads, and metals. At their Park Avenue store, a man purchased $53,000 worth of Edwards and Bennis shoes.
