De part et d'autre de la frontière franco-espagnole: Trajectoires identitaires des Gitans catalans.

This article examines the relationships that are developed between Gypsies inhabiting the French/Spanish border. The author focuses on genealogical inquiries that may help explain cross-border alliances that had previously been an enigma. The genealogical histories of Barcelona and Perpignan Gypsy families are explored in order to provide intergenerational coherence that cannot be explained through investigations only encompassing short periods of time.
