Abstract

The equations will be ill-conditioning when the polynomial order is large in the course of establishing structural frequency response function with rational fraction polynomials. To overcome the drawback a kind of improved discrete orthogonal polynomials have been proposed in fourier domain developed from relatives in real domain which not only overcomes the unnecessary computation incurred by negative frequencies but also makes the equations uncoupled.
