Abstract
- The article discusses the growth of several companies in the local waters in East End, Long Island, New York. Sea Tow International has grown up to be an international franchise phenomenon, with 121 locations and about 1,000 employees throughout Australia, Europe and U.S. Miller Environmental Group has six offices and expanded from spill cleanups to Miller Portable Services. There are also small businesses like Larry Welcome and Pete Fallon who have gushed up from the water over the years.
