Abstract
- Abstract: MUC1 is a scaffolding protein harboring binding site for β-catenin in cytoplasmic domain. It might promote β-catenin nuclear translocation through integrating environmental cytokine signals, and coactivate β-catenin target genes which are related to tumor invasion, facilitating epithelial–mesenchymal transition in colorectal carcinoma.
