BusinessObjects XI is a multifaceted product that has become entrenched in the marketplace over the years. During this time, a plethora of third-party tools that enhance BO XI's functionality have evolved in a thriving third-party market. In this chapter, we'll examine some of these products. This is not intended to be a series of product reviews; I will not compare one product to another nor will I offer pricing information or my own personal opinion on their individual merits. Personally, I have never used most of the tools described here. The goal of this chapter is to make you aware of the existence of these tools and to examine their features to see whether they may be of some help to you in your BusinessObjects XI deployments.
