Mining the Optical/Ultraviolet Sky with the Multimission Archive at the Space Telescope Science Institute (MAST).

We present an overview of the Multimission Archive at the Space Telescope Science Institute (MAST), which provides on-line access to Hubble Space Telescope data and 11 additional (mostly) optical/ultraviolet missions, including IUE and FUSE. We discuss the relevance of MAST for data mining studies, its literature links and our plans for expansion, which include "on-the-fly" creation of advanced data products. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
