Abstract

The deterministic and Monte Carlo methods for evaluation of collision integrals for the Boltzmann equation are used in parallel computing. The first approach is applied to obtain the accurate solutions for the uniform isotropic relaxation and the solution for the three-dimensional uniform relaxation problem. The supersonic free jet flow is studied by means of the second approach. The main features of this conservative method suitable for parallelizing in the velocity and in the physical spaces are investigated. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
