Abstract
- The article focuses on the report entitled "Why Access Matters," compiled and released by the Central Valley Higher Education Consortium in California. The report reveals that 36% Hispanics high school graduates in 2006 are incoming freshmen at California State University (CSU) while 33% at the University of California (UC) Merced. On the other hand, the report shows that Hispanic students are enrolling as freshmen community colleges at the same rate as white students.
