Abstract
- The article discusses the écorchés or flayed bodies in art. It states that thin skinned are not always fascinating to look at and not easy to put up with, and dead écorchés pinpoints the devastated landscape after the flaying. However, they take people beyond the anatomical vision and gives an eye which gives them a destiny.
