Abstract
- The article examines the totems and artworks made by sculptor Moon Shin. The monumental sculpture conceived by Shin in the context of Seoul Olympic Games is taken into account. The sculpture's association with the Tower of Babel and Romanian sculptor Constantin Brancusi's dizzying climbing columns is discussed. The sexual symbolism in many of his finely-worked pieces is also explored.
