Abstract
- The article presents a discussion about the search for biomarkers of angiogenesis, clinical trials in oncology and the development of antiangiogenic drugs. It is noted that one of the new therapies to prevent tumor progression is inhibition of tumor angiogenesis. Drugs that have been used in clinical trials include bevacizumab, sunitinib and temsirolimus.
