Abstract
- Radionuclide therapy of bone metastases represents a systemic therapy with intravenous administration of open radioactive agents. It is the aim of each radiation therapy to apply a maximal dose to the target — in this case bone metastases — and a minimal dose to the rest of the body. The dose to the rest of the body determines the frequency and intensity of side effects and limits treatment efficacy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
