Abstract

The article reports on the reevaluation of the cotton market in the U.S. It notes on the consideration that Allenberg Cotton Co. president Anthony Tancredi has addressed to a group of U.S. fiber buyers during the Joint Fiber Buyers Meeting last 2007 regarding the instability in cotton prices that interfered farmer sale from an 84 cents per pound to $1.09 per pound and then dropped to normal levels.
