Abstract
- The article recommends ways to reduce campus energy bills by increasing boiler efficiency through retrofits. The recommended strategies include locating the inefficiency, starting retrofits in the control system by installing programmable logic controllers, using an oxygen trim system in the exhaust gas, using a variable speed drive and incorporating heat recovery into the boiler system.
