Dopamine Genes and Reward Dependence in Adolescents with Excessive Internet Video Game Play.

The article discusses the increase in frequency of dopamine genes and higher reward dependency of adolescents who are engaged in excessive Internet video game play. The authors look at how excessive Internet video game play leads to behavioral and developmental problems in adolescents. Methods and results of the study are also presented.
