Abstract

The article reports on the myths and realities of government sales. It says that the government continue to spend in a poor economy is balance to a decline in commercial side. It discusses the association of commercial and government sales and the distinctions between federal versus state and local officials. It notes that federal market is more recession-proof while the state and local officials are more open to an innovative approach to funding. It says that the government has the idea on how to award the contract wherein the value-added resellers (VARs) helps shape the bid. Moreover, it discusses the role of government on market sales regarding on their commitment, allocation of resources, referring a VAR, and preparation of paper works and scrutiny to search for potential markets.
