Abstract
- The article offers news briefs relative to the school libraries in the U.S. The Teen Read Week 2008, a program designed to help teenagers improve their reading comprehension, is set to be held on October 12-18, 2008 under the theme "Books with Bite @ your library!." Meanwhile, World Book, Inc. and the American Library Association (ALA) are noted to have been sponsoring the upcoming World Book/ALA Information Literacy Goal Award which will be presented on the 2009 ALA Annual Conference.
