Abstract
- Abstract: Repeated episodes of infection are required for the development of a competent immune system and, therefore, are an expected norm in early childhood. Although most children with recurrent infection have normal immunity and do not have serious underlying disease, early and accurate detection of immunodeficient children is essential for delivery of optimised care. This review aims to provide a framework for rational investigation. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
