Abstract
- The author addresses the licensing application for the Yucca Mountain in Nevada submitted to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) under the Lieberman-Warner Climate Security Act of 2008. He criticizes the statement issued by Joe Strolin of the Nevada Agency for Nuclear Projects regarding prospect of money from the government for the Yucca Mountain. He states the terms of the amendment to the Lieberman-Warner Climate Security Act of 2008 passed by Senator James Inhofe of Oklahoma.
