Abstract

The article provides information on the Bektashi Dervish Lodge in Kerkük-Dakuk. It discusses the Dede Cafer Dervish Lodge and its rituals. The Dede Cafer Dervish lodge belongs to the Bektashis in Kerkük, Dakuk. it is noted that the lodge that has special applications because of the environment has kept the Bektashi culture alive. In line with this, the article discusses the rituals which emerged from the dervish lodge. It also tackles the text and style of speech and poems which are read in the dervish lodge.
