Abstract

The article recommends training sessions for runners during summer. One session involves running 6x800 meter repeats at quicker than 5 kilometers pace then jog for three to four minutes between repetitions. Another session involves running for 15 to 20 minutes then turn around and run back the same way and on the return, commit to a tough pace that is uncomfortable but just under control. Another session involves running for 30 minutes, alternating five minutes easy with five minutes at threshold pace.
