Abstract
- The article focuses on the status of genocide cases at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and the implications of Bosnia versus Serbia court decision. It states that the decision of ICJ in Bosnia versus Serbia case was criticized as a setback for the enforcement of the Genocide Convention, as well as for the efforts by aggrieved parties to obtain compensations. It discusses how the Bosnia versus Serbia outcome applies to the accusations on the role of France in the Rwanda genocide.
