Abstract
- The article offers information on the impact of Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade bypassing Times Square in New York in November on the businesses in the district. Business leaders say that the district would be economically hit if the parade went elsewhere as it is one of the most profitable events of the year for area businesses. The city is considering moving the parade route from Broadway to Sixth Avenue for several reasons including Broadway being too narrow for the parade crowds.
