Abstract

The article offers the author's view concerning the impacts of marketing influences on the care of pediatric patients. It cites that federal restrictions on advertising that target children younger that 8 is recommended by the American Psychological Association (APA). It examines the disadvantages of such advertising tactics on the safety of kids wearing contact lens.
