Abstract
- The article features Senior Master Sgt. Kevin Zimmerman, 920th Rescue Wing at Patrick Base in Florida. He was deployed at Tallil Air Base in Iraq during the beginning of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He flies as a radio operator on a cew of an HC-130P/N Hercules aircraft. Under his 90-day deployment, they flew many life-saving rescue missions in which they have rescued at least 17 people during combat.
