FROM FAIRY TALE TO CARTOON: COLLECTIONS OF GREEK MYTH FOR CHILDREN.

The article offers information on collections of Greek myth for children. This includes the book by Nathaniel Hawthorne's first colleciton, "A Wonder Book." Hawthorne used the elements of intertextuality and metafiction. Another book by Hawthorne is "Tanglewood Tales" wherein the highlights of Greek myths are told like Pandora's Box, the Golden Touch and the Minotaur. Also discussed is Charles Kingsley's anthology "The Greek Heroes."
