Abstract
- The article offers information related to having documents and images of Canada's heritage online. The Whitby Archives, Ontario's new central library branch, provides digitial copies of historic photographs in the collection of local historical documents and by doing so, Whitby allows history to be accessed by many people. Librarians and archivists digitization relevant to students who turn to the Internet for their research needs. It discusses factors such as what and how much to digitize.
