Los Comanches.-TexX, Performance, and Transculturation in an Eighteenth-Century New Mexican Folk Drama.

A section of Part 111 of the book "Recovering the U. S. Hispanic Literary Heritage," Volume III, edited by María Herrera-Sobek and Virginia Sánchez Korrol is presented. It explores the manifestations of Comanches and Matachines celebrations in the larger bioregional content having values of forgiveness, inclusion and redemption. It highlights the evaluation of earliest video recording made in 1978 and 1990s.
