The Criminalization of America.

In this article the author discusses the misuse of arrest power by law enforcement and the arrest of Harvard African American professor Henry Gates Jr. in the U.S. in 2009. The author states that the real issue is the violation of the constitutional rights of Gates, including his arrest without due process. The author cites that law enforcement, prison officers and prosecutors should be aware of their contribution in creating injustice to the system.
