Abstract

The article presents a study which examines whether angiotensin II whether this is mediated by oxidative modification of the pump subunits. Result shows that increased in glutathionylation was associated with decreased α1/β1 subunit coimmunoprecipitation. Researchers concluded that pathophysiological conditions characterized by neurohormonal dysregulation, myocardial oxidative stress and raised myocyte sodium levels.
