Abstract

The article presents research on the effects of feed additives on the quality of beef cattle carcass. A total of 72 Nellore steers were divided into groups to receive no additives, yeast culture, monensin or a combination of yeast and monensin for 91 days. The findings on renal, pelvic and inguinal fat as well as on carcass weights are detailed. The research found that yeast and monensin supplementation had no significant effects on carcass.
