Abstract
- The article presents a study that deals with the effect of mean grain size on acoustic properties in a water-saturated granular medium. Data gathering was done by performing an experiment in laboratory tanks containing water saturated glass beads for various grain sizes. The authors compared the laboratory results with the grain shearing model and Biot model.
