Abstract
- The article profiles Paul and Nicky Bavin, owners of a dairy conversion farm on the Saint Arnaud Range in New Zealand. In 2008, about 130,000 kilograms (kg) of milk solids (MS) were produced from 390 cows on a 146-hectare milking platform. In 2009, their target is to produce 150,000 kg of MS per hectare. An environment property plan is implemented in line with their membership with the Sherry River Catchment Group.
