Abstract

The article focuses on the most common therapies for sarcoidosis. It mentions that corticosteroids is used for sarcoidosis which stimulates gene transcription. It states that various studies examined the effects of inhaled corticosteroids on pulmonary sarcoidosis in which a study detected an undetermined evidence to affirm the utilization of inhaled corticosteroids. It mentions medication alternatives for sarcoidosis such as Methotrexate (MTX), antimalarial agents and TNF-α inhibitors.
