Abstract
- The article discusses a study which estimated the relative risk (RR) of lung cancer death related to silicosis among French uranium miners and assesses the impact of taking account of silicotic status on the relation between exposure to radon and lung cancer adjusted on smoking. The study proved that the relation between radon and lung cancer persists after adjusting for smoking and silicosis. The study identified silicotic miners based on appraisals.
