Abstract
- The article describes the case of a two-year-old female common Myna or Acridotheres tristis which presented with abdominal swelling and lethargy. According to the owner, the bird's cage fell from a height of two meters six days prior to admission. Particular focus is given to the results of the bird's physical examination. The bird was prepared for operation following a ventral abdominal hernia diagnosis. Diet modification and decreased exercise and activity were included in the bird's postoperative management.
