Abstract

The article discusses a study on a Meghimatium slug called Meghimatium burchi from the watershed of Koan-Tau Mount of Huei-Sun Agriculture Farm in the Central Mountain Range of Taiwan. A description of the jaw, radula and genitalia of M. burchi, with reference to other Meghimatium in the country, is offered. The slug is said to be found in humid, deciduous forests in Taiwan. M. burchi is currently the smallest of all the Taiwanese Meghimatium. One unique character of M. burchi is said to be the expanded proximal ends of the vas deferens (pvd).
