REPORT OF THE LIBRARIAN.

The article presents the report of the librarian of the American Antiquarian Society, presented at the semi-annual meeting in Boston, Massachusetts held on April 30, 1884. Discussion is included providing the librarian's personal remarks on the importance and significance of the Society itself. Details are then given outlining the status of the Society's library archive collections of genealogy, historical records, and other primary resources pertaining to New England history, including excerpts from multiple submitted documents. Announcements of gifts given to the society are listed along with comments on ongoing publishing and preservation projects.
