Abstract
- The article discusses the development of the profiling float for coastal application called the Arvor-C by Ifremer Geosciences Marines, the French Research Institute for Exploitation of the Sea. Arvor-C was developed to create repetitive in-situ measurements along profiles from the seafloor to the surface, giving complete three-dimensional, high-rate data. Information regarding the Arvor-C architecture, its standard operation and its fields of application is presented.
