Community Partnering and Coalition Development: Finding Solutions to Oral Health Care Problems Together.

In this article the author comments on the concepts of community partnering and coalition development to end a variety of social, political, cultural and welfare problems in the U.S. She reiterates that disparities in oral health care exist especially among children, elderly, minorities and disabled persons. The author also stresses the importance of dental educators' abilities in reaching out to the community to ask the right questions and help find solutions.
