Abstract

The article discusses the restoration decision-support tool made to clarify important restoration trade-offs, makes location-specific recommendation and predicts benefits. It says that the tool was exemplified from the restoration effort of eastern oyster in Chesapeake Bay. It states that an optimization approach was used to identify locations where the restoration efforts that would maximize one or more benefits such as the decrease in seston, spawning stock enhancement and harvest.
