Abstract
- The article examines the relationship between English composer Edward Elgar and English novelist and composer John Galsworthy in Great Britain. Hywel Davies raises the question of their relationship after both of them was part of the issuance of memorial proposing the international ban on the use of aerial vessels in war. However, Davies found that they are merely acquaintances despite that Gaslworthy is the proponent while Elgar was one of the signatories of the memorial.
